The brief for this project was to create a poster that not only stands out as a visually impactful piece of art but also integrates seamlessly with an augmented reality (AR) experience. The core objective was to design a poster using bold typography, dynamic color schemes, and layered textures to attract and engage viewers in a traditional setting. Additionally, the design had to support an AR component that, when viewed through a digital device, would transform the static artwork into an immersive, multimedia experience.
Create a visually compelling poster that blends bold design with an immersive AR experience.
Engage viewers through striking typography, dynamic colors, and interactive elements that bridge the physical and digital worlds.
Design a poster that stands out on its own and integrates seamlessly with an AR component to enhance the viewer’s experience.
The solution involved developing a poster design that emphasized strong, attention-grabbing elements such as bold typography and vibrant colors layered with textures to enhance visual depth. The physical poster was crafted to be appealing on its own, drawing the audience's attention through its striking design. The AR component was developed as an overlay that activates through a digital device, adding animated, interactive elements that transform the artwork into a multimedia experience. This integration was thoughtfully planned to ensure that the AR addition would amplify the poster's impact, creating a cohesive interaction that maintains visual harmony between the static and dynamic aspects of the project.
The greenish-yellow serves as the primary color of anxiety, unsettling and hard to ignore. The dark black background helps make the text and 3D elements stand out, while the light grey accents provide subtle contrast, softening the overall effect.
